A New Business Offers the Chance to Market from the Home Office

April 29th, 2008 ipt

The Direct Response Network or D.R.N. is a new business that offers the chance to market without any personal selling and to do it while working from home. The D.R.N. is based on a network marketing model. Most of us know the pros and cons of network marketing; and so does the founder of the D.R.N. That is why a great deal of effort has gone into developing a business plan that actually gives the D.R.N. member the chance to truly be compensated for their efforts. There are about five ways to create a weekly, monthly, and residual income, as well as a 100% Matching Bonus aspect to the compensation plan. This means the D.R.N. has the potential to produce a very large income.

Sinus Infection Symptoms Demystified

April 29th, 2008 Paul Smith

I was sneezing throughout my younger years and didn’t know what hit me. My school nurse told me that I had a cold. It was accepted advice. Anything that the nurse told me, I believed in. I lived a life of sneezing and nasal drip.

At the age of 10, I was still having the same symptoms and I didn’t believe what the nurse had told me. “What is going on here? How could a cold actually last this long?” I finally got a different opinion from my junior high nurse. She told me that I was actually allergic to something and that I didn’t have a cold.

I asked my parents about getting allergy medicine from the supermarket. They never used it before and had no clue. My parents bough the allergy medication. Unfortunately it caused drowsiness. I could remember being so sleepy during class time. I could recall that my eighth grade teacher put me aside and asked me if I was consuming illegal drugs and wanted to talk to my parents.

That’s when my allergies and sinus problems started to elevate. I’m about to describe 2 kinds of sinus infections (aka sinusitis). Acute and chronic are the 2 types.

Here’s the details:

Symptoms of Acute Sinusitis

* Mucus drainage down the back of the throat
* Fever is common
* Facial pain or soreness
* Pressure around the sinus cavities
* Nasal discharge
* Vision problems
* Headaches
* Nasal congestion
* Pain behind the eyes

Chronic Sinus Infection Symptoms

* Chronic sore throat
* Pain below the eyes
* Pressure across or above your nasal passages
* Toothaches
* Prolonged headaches
* Chronic nasal discharge
* Bad breath
* Prolonged facial pain

When Will These Sinus Infection Problems End?

You can see many similarities between the two. The main difference is how long they occur and the severity of the symptoms. Acute sinus infections last for a month or two. Chronic sinus infection can last for months.

What Should I Use To Get Rid of Sinus Infections?

It might be the case that over-the-counter medications or herbal remedies can assist you. Seeking help from a medical professional is advised. I’m sure that you wouldn’t want these medications to react with other things that you may be taking.

Mike Herrington explains how you can prevent the symptoms of sinus infection. For a limited time, you can claim the “Natural Relief Method” e-Book absolutely free at http://AllergyandAsthmaTreatment.com

Kids And air soft guns

April 24th, 2008 Airsoft

Kids And air soft guns

As a firearm instructor, you might not believe how many times I hear from someone that they would like to own a gun, but their spouse will not allow it because they have kids in the house. On a grand scale, I understand and agree with the REASONING behind this feeling. Its a parents job to keep their children safe, and no one wants to bring something into the home that is dangerous to their child.

However, while I agree with wanting to keep children safe from harm, I must disagree with the blanket thought that cheap Airsoft guns in the home are by themselves inherently dangerous. With proper education, storage, and supervision, firearms are no more dangerous than any other tool. I am not in the habit of making broad demands on how others should act. Generally, I teach options and tell the reasons for using each of those options. I can tell you how I deal with this issue of Airsoft gun in my home with my child and hopefully give prospective to other parents who question electric Airsoft guns in the home.

When I was growing up, my parents were not anti-gun, but they were anti-me-having-a-gun. There were Airsoft guns in my home. My dad was a law enforcement officer and as such always had at least one handgun in the home. My father subscribed to the old school policy on kids and air soft guns. Dad said, Boy, Ive got a gun in that closet, and if I ever catch you playing with it, youll wish you hadnt. Well, being the bright child I was, I figured that meant as long as I applied my gun handling skills I learned on TV to keep me from accidentally firing the gun, and I put it back EXACTLY as I found it, I could pose in the mirror in my gunfighter stance whenever I was alone in the house. Luckily I never fired the pistol into the mirror or myself. As I got older, dad did take me out shooting once or twice. We even went hunting once, but they never let me have my own gun so I always had that curiosity.

I imagine that even if there were no cheap Airsoft guns in my home and if my parents forbid me to even mention Airsoft gun, I would find someone to let me see one (It happened just like that with a motorcycle, but since mom still doesnt know about that, we wont get into details). The above two examples are the first two of the three most common attitudes parents that I have spoke with have toward children and electric Airsoft guns. I subscribe to the third.

In my house we have a smart and independent 7 year old girl. She thinks for herself and is not afraid to abandon what she has been told, if she thinks she knows better. What I have to do first is keep her from being able to access the firearms if she chooses to disregard my gun rules, This is not foolproof. Kids have an uncanny ability to find what they are looking for. I am sure at some point in her life she will find the gun safe keys.

For the second step, we have taught her the NRAs Eddie Eagle gun safe rules. This strategy was to teach the child what to do if they find a gun. The rules are simple and effective. Eddie Eagle says if the child sees a gun they should: stop, dont touch, leave the area, and tell an adult. These rules are particularly important, as over 50% of American households have firearms. If she is visiting a friends house, we do not want her to try to tell another child not to play with a gun, as that might cause that child to point the gun at our child in order to tease her. We want her safely away from any unsecured gun, not to act like she is in charge of it.

The last thing we do is take away her curiosity. My wife and I took her to the range, and she watched her momma shoot a pistol. I sat with our child and explained to her about Airsoft guns and answered all her questions. This did not work too well because even with hearing protection, my child thought the handair soft guns were too loud. She did not want to be around them. We then got her a BB rifle. We let her shoot it when she asks to, but she doesnt really like it very much. Furthermore we dont force her, but she knows if she wants to shoot, she can as long as she asks and her mother or I take her.

This works well for us. We keep the cheap Airsoft guns in a locked safe and the ammo locked in a separate room (this does not include our personal carry firearms; they are kept out of reach but not locked up, as they are considered to always be in use.). We taught our child firearm safety rules, particularly what to do if they encounter a gun outside the home. Lastly, we took away her curiosity by exposing her to firearms and what they can do and allowing her the privilege to own her very own BB rifle that she can use when supervised. As she gets older, we plan on increasing her exposure to firearms, but at this point we think she is only ready for the basics.

As the parent, you are the best judge of what your child is ready for. This is only a guideline for when your child asks about Airsoft gun for the first time. For us, it was when my wife told me to look out the window, and our little girl was on the porch with a red rubber training pistol in one hand, a rubber training knife in the other, and yelling Pay attention! I am trying to give you a class! to the family dog. My wife told me I created a monster. It was pretty cute though and served to reinforce in my mind the responsibilities I have toward being a positive role model. If I am unsafe in my attitude toward electric Airsoft guns, I can be sure my kid will take notice.

One way to prevent purse snatching is not to carry a purse, or to carry it in a way that makes it quite inaccessible, such as wearing it under your coat. For self defense weapons, carry pepper spray or best pepper spray spray on your key chain where they’re readily available. Many women think that wearing a shoulder bag with the strap diagonally across their body is a good idea but, in fact, if someone grabs the purse in that position and tries to run with it, it can catch the strap around your neck. Keeping your purse close to your body and your arm over it makes it a little bit harder for someone to grab the purse. Also, being aware of who is around you is also very important.

Narcotic Antagonist Executive Drug Rehab

April 18th, 2008 Altamira

Narcotic Antagonist Executive Drug Rehab

Narcotic Antagonist Using Naltrexone for opiate addicts usually is conducted in outpatient settings although initiation of the medication often begins after medical detoxification in a residential setting. Naltrexone is a long-acting synthetic opiate antagonist with few side effects that is taken orally either daily or three times a week for a sustained period of time. Individuals must be medically detoxified and opiate-free for several days before naltrexone can be taken to prevent precipitating an opiate abstinence syndrome. When used this way, all the effects of self-administered opiates, including euphoria, are completely blocked. The theory behind this is that the repeated lack of the desired opiate effects, as well as the perceived futility of using the opiate, will gradually over time result in breaking the habit of opiate addiction. Naltrexone itself has no subjective effects or potential for abuse and is not addicting. Patient noncompliance is a common problem. Therefore, a favorable dual diagnosis treatment outcome requires that there also be a positive therapeutic relationship, effective counseling or therapy, and careful monitoring of medication compliance.

CHEAP STUN GUNS PROVES TO BE AN EFFECTIVE NEW TOOL

The Long Beach Police Departments use of the stun master stun device has had promising first year results. The Police Department is reporting a reduction in complaints, injuries and related lawsuits during first year of the taser guns deployment.

The taser stun gun stun device is a less lethal weapon that looks similar to a handgun but it propels two small darts attached to wires that can reach a person up to 21 feet away. The darts deliver an electric current that momentarily disables a persons ability to fight or resist. The electric current is very low amperage for safety but high voltage for effectiveness. Though the electric current only lasts for a few seconds, it is often enough time for officers to safely detain an individual. This is an excellent tool against combative, intoxicated or uncooperative subjects who pose a threat to others or even themselves.
